Shihan Bob is a 6th Dan Belt in Korejado Christian Karate and Combat Martial Arts. He also is 1st Dan Black Belt in World Oyama Karate.  Originally from South Jersey. Sensei Bob trained under Shihan Tom DiGiacomo, 5th Dan World Oyama Karate. Shihan Bob opened the Lusby Maryland branch of Korejado Christian Karate in 2001. In 2004, Shihan Bob was inducted into the Legends Champion Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Maryland and was named Male Instructor of the Year. Later that year, he was inducted into the Action Martial Arts Black Belt Hall of Fame and received their award for Outstanding Leadership in the Martial Arts. Shihan Bob is the Vise President for Korejado Christian Martial Arts Association under President Soke Craig Hamm. In 2007, Sensei Bob was advanced to 6th Dan Koreja Do Combat Karate and awarded the title SHIHAN by Koreja Do President Craig Hamm and the entire Board of Governors. Professionally, Bob McWhirt, RN is the Vice President for Patient Care/Chief Nursing Officer at Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick Maryland. Above all else, Shihan Bob loves God and teaches first and foremost   "we are training to protect the one and only temple that God has provided for us"

Sensei Steve Colvin

Sensei Steve has been Shihan Bob's lead student since the inception of the Lusby program. In January 2006 Sempai Steve graduated as the schools first Black Belt.   Since then, Sensei Steve Has developed his own unique style that compliments and adds diversity to the schools teachings that includes grappling techniques. In addition, Sensei Steve is known for his compassionately "grueling" physical workouts during class. His students respect his energy, skill, and demeanor. In 2004, Steve attended the War at the Shore WAKO tournament and was the Welterweight Champion. Sempai Steve is a fierce competitor and trains his body and mind daily incorporating weight training, aerobics and high intensity interval training. In November 2007, then Sempai Steve, tested for his 2nd Dan, Koreja Do Combat Karate in front of a huge audience at the MPKA tournament. Shihan Bob advance Steve to 2nd Dan and was thus awarded the title of Sensei (lead Instructor). Sensei Steve is a resent graduate of the College of Southern Maryland's nursing program and is an RN at Calvert Memorial Hospital.
